The Hylas M58 Design

THE FLAGSHIP OF THE M-SERIES

In partnership with Zurn Yacht Design, Hylas Yachts has created the Hylas M58, a luxurious powerboat in flybridge and sedan versions. The 58-foot yacht features a planing hull design, and with standard twin 725 hp Volvo Penta D-11 IPS2 950s, the M58 can reach a top speed of 27 knots and cruise at 23 knots. Owners can choose from three other power options for faster speeds.

The M58 includes a glass door leading into the deck house for clear sightlines from the aft cockpit to the forward helm station, and the yacht’s galley aft design is ideal for guests to enjoy a cocktail with a breeze. With a 3-stateroom layout belowdecks, including two staterooms with island queen berths, and a third with twin bunks, the Hylas M58 is the perfect vessel for an extended cruising trip.

The Hylas M58 also features a spacious outdoor lounge space, a secondary helm station, and a Bimini top on the flybridge version, making it perfect for entertaining guests. The sun deck on the sedan version comes with two sun pads and speakers for sunbathing.

The interior boasts two queen cabins with ensuite heads and separate stall showers. To starboard at the base of the stairs is a bunk room which could also be an office option or crew quarters. To port is the day head with stall shower. Forward of that is a washer/dryer closet and linen closet.

The fly-bridge option seats 5 to 8 people with a day bed to starboard and a refrigerator. A large propane or electric grill option to port. The retractable soft-top helps reduce air draft concerns for better bridge clearance, but a hard-top option is available. There are skylights aft that let diffused light into the space below. Alternatively, a crane could be installed, and the dinghy could be stored up top.
